 DESCRIPTION

"The shape of things to come." Triumph said that the TR-7 was the shape of the future and indeed the wedge shape was used on many sports cars in the 1980's Unfortunatly the quality control was some of the worst of the 1970's. Not only did the car fall apart but the 4 cylinder motor blew head gaskets on whim. The TR-8, with Rover's small-block V8 was much better. Corgi produced the TR-7 in a variety of colors, some with racing or rally decals. The burgandy car has a metal baseplate while the others have plastic baseplates.
