DESCRIPTION The 1988 Alien IAD by Hot Wheels is based on a concept car created in Britain. IAD is a design center that focuses on automotive design. The Alien is a modular vehicle with a detachable rear power unit. In the case of an accident, the front passanger compartment would slide up over the engine. Hot Wheels versions of the Alien come in red, blue (a short run color) and a 'Hot Wheels Space Administration' (HWSA) version.
