 DESCRIPTION

First issued in 1971, the AMX/2 was Designer Dick Teague's proposed second-generation AMX for AMC. What a shame AMC got cold feet. Hot Wheels had no such concerns and it still looks great today. Re-issued as the 'Road Torch,' this is the 1987 version, complete with then new, ultra-light wheels. This mid-engined beauty could have given AMC a whole new image, if only.
