 DESCRIPTION

The AMX sports car was replaced by the AMX Javelin in the early 70's, a four-seater muscle car. Matchbox produced the javelin in several colors, with a custom hood scoop. In 1978, the Javelin was offered as one of the 'Limited Edition' series in blue with a white racing stripe and #1 on the door. In 1983, the Javelin was re-tooled as the AMX Pro Stocker, #17-H, and included flared body work.
