DESCRIPTION The SM is one of my favorite cars (I own the full-size model) and this is one of the prized SM examples in the collection. What makes this one special is the color. French racing blue is the ideal color for this car and Matchbox did this color very well in the 1970's. The matchbox SM is more easily found in mt. orange or blue with red Citroen decals. This example is from a twin-pack that came with motorcycles on a trailer. A hood decal and top, rally rack have been removed. The doors open. While the SM has been nicely done by other toy car manufacturers, this will always be one of my collection treasurers. It has the look of the real car.
