DESCRIPTION First produced at the end of Lesney's production era, this 1974 Corvette has had a curious production history. The burgandy car is the original Lesney version. After Matchbox International took control, two more version were produced. The grey 'pace-car' model is an obvious attempt to take advantage of the 1978 Indy Pace Car fever. The black Delainey/Bonnie Samson N.A.R.T. racing model is an example of a real racing Corvette. The white version was a Tyco production for a box set on the 40th Anniversary of Corvette. This car was also altered with cut-out T-Tops and offered in 1982 as a new model.
