 DESCRIPTION

The Penny Cars produced in the late 1960's and early 1970's by Polistil, also known as Politoys are some of most delightful little cars ever produced. Difficult to find and often quite expensive, these toy cars are miniature treasures. Number 0/22 in the series is a one-off dream car built by Alfa Romeo and based on a the Giulia model. The Cangaro was exhibited at European auto shows of the day. It features a clam-shell front hood and fastback styling. Windows are clear with a red interior, black wheels and silver hubs. No other example of this car exists in small-scale diecast.
