 DESCRIPTION

The Penny Cars produced in the late 1960's and early 1970's by Polistil, also known as Politoys are some of most delightful little cars ever produced. Difficult to find and often quite expensive, these toy cars are miniature treasures. Number 0/24 in the series is a Porsche 912. Windows are clear with a grey interior, the hood opens and contains a spare tire, the black tires have silver hubs. This is the only known example of the 4 cylinder Porsche 912. With so many Porsche 911 models, this 912 model is even more special. Like many of the Penny Cars, it provides collectors with an opportunity to ad one of the 'missing' cars.
