DESCRIPTION The Playart vehicles produced in the 1970's and 1980's, also known as Fast Wheels, are some of most interesting diecast to come out of Hong Kong. Difficult to find today, they are inexpensive and often offer examples of small-scale cars done by no other company. This Isuzu 117 Coupe is a car well-known in Japan but not in the U.S. It was designed by Giugiaro, then at Corrozeria Ghia. The car went into mass production in 1968 and stayed for thirteen years, with almost 100,000 units to its credit. Windows are clear with a yellow interior and the black tires have painted silver mag wheels. Playart also produced 'in-house' diecast for Woolworths, McCrory and Sears stores.
