1972 Citroen-Maserati SM by: Siku |

DESCRIPTION Siku toy vehicles are German miniatures that feature excellent detail and fine craftsmanship. The first diecast, small-scale cars were produced in 1963. Number 1026 in the series is a 1972 Citroen-Maserati SM. This is one of my personal favorites as I own a full-size SM in silver. The colors of the German-made version leaves much to be desired. No SM ever left the factory in yellow or with an blue interior. The Hungarian version in silver with a silver base and bumpers is correct although the lt. blue interior is wrong. The covered headlights are very nice on both cars. The Hungarian version was offered by Metchy using Siku tooling. | |
