DESCRIPTION Siku toy vehicles are German miniatures that feature excellent detail and fine craftsmanship. The first diecast, small-scale cars were produced in 1963. Number 294 in the series is a 1967 Jaguar "E' type 2+2. It is curious that while the body is in the 2+2 style, no back seats are included in the interior. This silver sports car has opening doors with a yellow interior and lightly tinted windows. The black Siku wheels with white spokes were a response to Hot Wheels' red stripes and Matchbox Superfast wheels, replacing more traditional wheels, much like Matchbox regular wheels. | |
