DESCRIPTION This very early Siku Mercedes-Benz 300SL is one of the finest cars in my collection. It is simply a diecast work of art. To begin with it is of interest because it is not the far more popular 300SL Gullwing. It is the only example of the roadster, with the removable hard-top in place. Theis car has an amazing 'touch of the real car' about it. It looks right, is heavy all-diecast and has a patina in the paint that says 'vintage.' The doors open and close smoothly. It looks just right in it's primative black-wall tires, like it is ready for a foggy morning run on the Nurburing. You can almost hear the snarl of the in-line 6 cylinder motor. One of the treasures of my collection, it is a pleasure to share this diecast with you.
