"I just wanted to compliment you on your beautiful website and wonderful collection of cars. I was wondering if you still had the Volkswagen 1500 "The Love Bug" 1965 France Solido for sale. I've been looking for this item for some time. If so, would you please send me an e-mail with instructions on how to go about making the purchase. If not, could you tell me how to contact Solido directly. I've been looking for their web presence, with no luck. Thanks again,"

Editor's response: Everyone loves Herbie the Love Bug. Too bad there are not more diecast examples. Solido has the 1:18 scale version. Their Web site is <http://www.solido.fr>.

"What a fantastic piece of work., I run a small club for collectors of Citroen nmodels - all scales. I have a lists of 6500 known models and about 3500 in my collection. I was in the business full time, but now I play about in it, but I still have contacts and buy from European manufacturers at trade prices. Let me know if there is anything that you want - all current models, not just Citroen"

Editor's response: If you are interested in Citroen models, contact David at <Conwaycv2@bigfoot.com>. He sent me a list of SM models that made my wallet itch!

"I just finished reading the article on Kingstar models and found it interesting. I had no previous information on this brand. I picked one up last year at a Kansas City toy show. The model is a Mitsubishi Fuso FU112. The model is marked Kingstar with a scale of 1/160. The livery is "Union" which is a fuel company. The tank truck comes in a box that is illistrated much like a lesney era superfast of the 70s. The box is numbered 302,Tanker car. I know your not into heavy trucks but thought the info might be useful. I collect transportation toys in many scales. My collectin includes over 100 items from my childhood, mainly 70 Superfast, Ertl farm toys and Mighty Tonkas. It has grown considerably over the last 4 years. Some of my favorites being English and European manufactured items. Thanks for the space.

Editor's response: The King Star story just keeps unfolding.
