Singing the GM Blues
By Doug Breithaupt

Perhaps it is just a coincidence that at a time when the future of General Motors is bleak indeed, the three model names represented here are no longer produced. The Oldsmobile Toronado, Buick Riviera and Cadillac Eldorado were the halo cars for GM for almost 30 years. These models set the styling trends and rightfully so. Today, GM's glut of truck and SUV models have little style and less future. If GM wants to once again be a leader in their industry, perhaps they should look back to the cars that made GM the one to follow.

1967 Oldsmobile Toronado - Johnny Lightning

1966 Buick Riviera GS - Tiger Wheels

1968 Cadillac Eldorado - Playart
