DESCRIPTION Zylmex or Zee Toys produced some very interesting diecast from the early 70's to 1996. The variety and quality of Zylmex models get little respect from most collectors with boxes of un-opened Hot Wheels in their attics. Good news for the rest of us, these fun little cars are often cheap, when you find them. The last Zylmex were made in 1996 so get your now. This DeLorean is a perfect example of why the Zee Toys deserve to be collected. John Z. DeLorean's sport/GT is a rare car in diecast and much of the value relates to the real car's hard-luck history. This example has operating gull-wing doors and is in correct silver color. The success of the Back to the Future movie has not hurt either. Values are higher due to rarity.
